■ High efficiency: The permanent magnet motor has a higher power factor, larger inertia ratio, lower rotor current, and no excitation loss, and the efficiency is increased by 5%-12%. Direct-coupled, the efficiency can be increased by 3% at a low load. In this mode, the efficiency of the PM VSD compressor is 15%~35% higher than that of the standard screw air compressor. The PM VSD compressor maintains high efficiency regardless of low load or heavy load. At present, our PM VSD compressors can meet China’s first-class energy efficiency standards.
■ Still high efficiency when not fully loaded: when working at full load, the permanent magnet motor can save energy by about 9% compared with ordinary asynchronous motors. As the load percentage decreases, the efficiency of permanent magnet motors can remain the same, while the efficiency of synchronous motors can drop significantly, even down to 50%.
■ Stability: The permanent magnet motor responds to the fluctuation of air supply demand faster than ordinary motors, ensuring accurate air supply and the best energy-saving effect.

PM VSD Control is More Energy Saving

Using VSD control, the air supply volume of the compressor perfectly matches the air consumption, completely avoiding power loss during exhaust;
The frequency conversion no-load starter can avoid current impact and torque impact under the condition of alternating gas consumption. Therefore, the unit can start and stop infinitely. It truly realizes 0-100% step-less speed change and maximizes the control of useless functions; 2 bar output pressure control can save 14% of system energy consumption.
